Here’s Why

Expertise

Our consulting experience ranges from mid-market site level situations to implementing and integrating multi-geography/multi-site S&OP and supply chain improvements for global corporations.  Our work often involves underlying process improvement, information systems improvement/implementation, and organizational change. The change management aspects should not be underestimated and we have an extensive methodology and toolkit to draw from to fit your individual situation. Please see our Case Studies and Approach.

Speed to Results

Leaders who consider using a consultant often focus on the cost of consulting services. While this is obviously a consideration, most leaders who contact us have not quantified a benefit opportunity or the cost of inaction/delayed action. If your people can really do this with the skill and speed you need, and your other management team members are on-board with a sense or urgency, then you don’t need us. If that’s not the case, a conversation regarding an assessment for an ROI-based project may be appropriate. Our foundation is in these types of projects and our Managing Principal wrote a book on this that sells every day on Amazon. These projects do require a brief upfront assessment though. If that’s not worth the investment, we can work with that, perhaps in a lower cost training and coaching capacity, but a non-ROI project will draw more of your focus on cost and the other things on your plate. Doing nothing probably won’t bite you this month, but it’ll catch-up with you. Like the song says, time waits for no one.

How about hiring an employee for this?

Some look at the cost of consultants and say, “For that, I can just hire someone”. Perhaps, but are you going to hire an executive level person without any political concerns? Unlikely. The more junior hire runs the risk of getting caught up in your system, can’t always speak their mind, and is unlikely to get the attention in your organization that we will.

Boutique Firm with A Strong Senior Level Network

Our global network of senior level associates and partner firms is extensive making us capable of large scale delivery, while our boutique size means we can still serve the middle market. You deal directly with the principals, receive service free of the internal distractions that can exist in larger firms, and get large firm expertise from experienced consultants at an attractive price.  Please see more on our Network.

Ideas and Innovation

While we travel the world to work with clients, we are doing more to be reachable easily and more economically.  Our multimedia content can be found here on the website, in trade journals/magazines, and other places around the web. We offer webinars, live training courses, and participate in industry events. The video conference coaching program may be a fit where lower consultant involvement is desired, and other web-based products are in development.  Our consulting and change management methods are integrated into everything we do and add much more than just the S&OP/supply chain subject matter material. We invite you to take a look at our developing online portal, Nexview Online, that will be our platform for sharing content including articles, videos, conference presentations, survey results, and online tools as well as other offerings.

Flexibility

We understand that there are several ways to solve problems and while we will recommend approaches, we are also flexible to meet your needs and culture. We won’t come with a blank sheet of paper, but also won’t try to put a square peg in a round hole. This not only goes for approaches, but also for the application of “best practices” too. Best practices are a great place to start, but our definition of “best” is what works best for you. We find the balance between challenging you and recognizing the differences in your business that need to be accommodated.  Not all firms are this way.

We work with clients in a variety of ways including training to kick-off a project, coaching your leaders, or full-scale on the ground support with a high impact consulting team that partners with you to define and achieve a quantified business case. Please see more on our Approach.
