About Nexview Consulting

Nexview Consulting is a boutique management consulting firm that specializes in Sales & Operations Planning and leverages S&OP to be the platform for continuous improvement and profitability in client organizations. We also work with clients to improve the supply chain and planning processes, organizations, and technology that support S&OP. Consulting methods promote sustainability of performance improving behaviors, tangible results, and development of client team members. Nexview Principals and Associates are highly-experienced business and consulting leaders with track records of delivering results for clients across the world, typically with larger more well-known consulting firms. Our model enables us to meet the needs of mid-market clients or larger clients who may require multi-division/geography support.  Nexview Consulting is based in the Boston area and Houston, but we travel worldwide to conduct training seminars, speak at conferences, and work with clients on high-impact, performance improving initiatives.

Eric J. Tinker Principal
Eric Tinker leads Nexview Consulting and has spent the last 20 years in management consulting helping clients achieve large-scale change within their organizations. His projects have resulted in over $500 million in operational improvements. These results have been achieved through a combination of improving business processes, management systems and tools, information systems, organizational effectiveness, and by helping clients achieve sustainable behavioral change. His client experience spans several countries and ranges from helping start-ups to leadership of large, complex, multi-geography business transformation. Eric focuses on S&OP/IBP consulting change programs as well as training to help clients leverage S&OP to be the platform for continuous improvement in the organization. He has consulted and taught S&OP on 5 continents and works with a strong peer network of consultants and partner firms. His industry experience includes Consumer Goods, Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences, and High Tech among others.
Prior to Nexview Consulting, Eric worked for organizations such as Celerant Consulting, Deloitte & Touche, and Hughes Aircraft. He is a CPA and holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California State University-Northridge, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
In addition to helping clients be successful, Eric enjoys training, supporting, and speaking at industry events. He has spoken at Institute of Business Forecasting, APICS, Institute for Supply Management, IE Group, and other public events as well as numerous private events. Jonathan Gilbert, Principal

An expert in supply chain management, logistics, and planning, Jon Gilbert has more than 25 years of experience in improving service, reducing cost, increasing efficiency, and integrating new technologies in diverse industries. Mr. Gilbert conducts research and provides consulting services in transportation and logistics, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and operations. He specializes in strategic sourcing, measuring the environmental impacts of product movement, and driving cost reductions by streamlining networks and developing alternative transportation strategies. He has substantial experience in transportation, strategic sourcing, operations planning, optimization, and capacity analysis. Mr. Gilbert has advised major energy producers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and service companies with global and North American operations. Recent clients include Marathon Oil, Party City Stores, Harry and David, Commercial Metals Company, United Technologies, Celanese Corporation, Tenneco, DTE Energy, and other major retail and manufacturing companies. Mr. Gilbert earned a B.S. from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and an M.B.A.from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He has held significant leadership positions at NuCO2, a US national carbon dioxide gas distributor; electronics component manufacturer MF Electronics; BOC Edwards, a major supplier of electronics process gases, chemicals, and equipment; BOC Group; and Pyle Corporation. Mr. Gilbert is a CSCMP member and a former Vice President of the New Jersey/New York Chapter of the American Society of Transportation and Logistics.
Roy Zerner, Principal

Principal
Roy Zerner is an experienced supply chain professional with over 28 years’ experience in both industry and consulting roles in the consumer goods, high-tech electronics, software and services, telecommunications, life sciences, health care, chemicals and industrials industries. He is skilled in most areas of supply chain management including a depth of expertise in supply chain strategy, demand planning, sales and operations planning, inventory management, production planning, order fulfillment, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, reverse logistics, strategic and operational procurement, supplier relationship management, network design, product design, information technology, program management and executive management.
As a consultant, Roy brings a unique blend of practitioner, consulting and academic experiences to his engagements.  This combination of skills helps to insure that the solutions he delivers are practicable, cost-effective and address the root cause of the problem.
Roy’s practitioner experience includes serving in supply chain leadership roles with Del Monte Foods, H.J. Heinz, and Mars Inc.  In addition, he was a senior member of the Supply Chain Consulting practices of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Ernst & Young (now Capgemini) and Arthur Andersen.
Roy has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Marketing from the Indiana University - Kelley School Of Business. In addition, he has completed a majority of the degree requirements for a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the UCLA - Anderson School Of Management.
